Welcome to BAD Repertory Theatre!

BAD Repertory Theatre is a performance group based in the Bay Area, founded by alumni of UC Berkeley's Theatre Rice after a night of feelings spurred by moderate drinking.  BAD REP is dedicated to providing artists -- predominantly, but not exclusively of Asian American heritage -- with a collaborative space to create original work. They sold out the run of their inaugural show in 2015 and have performed at Kearny Street Workshops APAture Festival, Oaklands Flight Deck, Berkeley's La Peña Cultural Center, Z Space, and for corporations such as Box and Salesforce.

A Note from BAD Rep:

In response to the recent violence against the Asian community, we want to remind our community of our mission to provide not only a collaborative space, but a safe creative space that uplifts the voices of our fellow Asian Americans and other artists of color. We thank you for your support over the years, and we hope you’ll continue to support through your actions by standing with the Asian community. Here are some resources we’d like to spotlight to start:

  1. CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment)
